In her email with the picture Teressa didn't identify her home city.

Konna and Gigi with Teressa
Teressa just used the subject line "Thank you for letting us love on your babies...".  We met at the Marina, that's me on the left and Gigi, my Bouvier des Flandres friend on the right.

We were walking dad downtown and had gone to the Marina after making our cookie stops at Amelia Fine Jewelry and Olive Amelia.

Teressa, please share on your social media, my page count is currently 14,590, let's see if we can make it 14,610.

If you are visiting Fernandina and would like to meet Gigi & I just email me (brtkonna@gmail.com) and we will make a date, if possible.

Met Jennifer, who is visiting from Nashville.

As Gigi, my Bouvier des Flandres housemate, and I were leaving the dock area when we met Jennifer.  Jennifer is visiting from Nashville.

She plans on coming back and bringing here pups the next time.

You have my email, let me know when you are coming back and we can meet at one of the many dog-friendly eateries.

Visited Smokehouse Meatmarket Today

Gigi & I visited the newly opened Smokehouse Meat Market, located in the same strip mall as West Marine at SR-200 and O'Neal Rd.  Scott Hester, came out to talk to us, but we were more interested it the great odors coming from inside.

UNF Beach Volleyball Team met a Black Russian Terrier and Two Bouvier des Flandres

While dad was in Amelia Island Coffee shop and mom was sitting on the bench outside with us, Konna, Poppy, and Gigi the UNF Beach Volleyball team arrived.

These two team members decided that loving on us was more important than a cup of coffee.

Met Holly Kelley, local realtor.

After going to REI, in Jacksonville, we headed downtown for our walk.  Starting at Amelia Fine Jewelry, where a nice lady stepped into the store and came back out with the cookie jar. We continued on to Olive Amelia, with several stops, for Dad to explain that I am a Black Russian Terrier, mascot of the Russian Army and guard dog at the Gulags.  While Gigi is a Bouvier des Flandres, a cow herder from Belgium.  More cookies at Olive Amelia, then down to Front Street.

On our way back to the car we met a lady who recognized my breed, she raised Giant Schnauzer.

Then we met Holly, who agree to be on my blog.  Holly is a local Realtor (Palm III Realty).

Konna (BRT), Holly, Gigi (BdF)  (L-R)

Konna & Gigi met Lillian

Gigi, Bouvier des Flandres, Konna, Black Russian Terrier and Lillian (F-R)

After Dad had lunch at 4th Street Deli & Salads, we headed out on our cookie tour of the Historic District.  First stop Amelia's Fine Jewelry where Gigi and John keep a supply of treats on the window ledge, self-service style.  Then on to Olive Amelia, where we wait at the door until someone has a chance to go to the cookie bowl and bring us some cookies.  If you walk by and see us waiting the bowl is on the top shelf of the rack, just inside on the left, please pop in and grab a couple of cookies for us, the staff is frequently busy!

From there we went on to the docks to see how the repairs are going.

On the way back as we were passing Amelia Island Coffee Lillian asked if she could say hello, and of course, Dad said OK.  Lillian asked lots of questions about us. Dad gave his standard spiel.  Lillian was enamored with Gigi.

Lillian and friend were visiting from Riverside.  Lillian, we hope we see you again, it a short ride from Jacksonville.

New Years Eve, fresh from visit with the Groomer.

After leaving Hot Paws, we went downtown for a walk and to collect cookies from Amelia Fine Jewelry and Olive Amelia.  We parked on 3rd, so the first stop was Amelia Fine Jewelry.  Then on to Olive Amelia.  On the way back to the car we met Claire and her friend Charles, who were enjoying a box of fudge from Fantastic Fudge.

Claire agreed to pose with me.
