Met Holly Kelley, local realtor.

After going to REI, in Jacksonville, we headed downtown for our walk.  Starting at Amelia Fine Jewelry, where a nice lady stepped into the store and came back out with the cookie jar. We continued on to Olive Amelia, with several stops, for Dad to explain that I am a Black Russian Terrier, mascot of the Russian Army and guard dog at the Gulags.  While Gigi is a Bouvier des Flandres, a cow herder from Belgium.  More cookies at Olive Amelia, then down to Front Street.

On our way back to the car we met a lady who recognized my breed, she raised Giant Schnauzer.

Then we met Holly, who agree to be on my blog.  Holly is a local Realtor (Palm III Realty).

Konna & Gigi met Lillian

Gigi, Bouvier des Flandres, Konna, Black Russian Terrier and Lillian (F-R)

After Dad had lunch at 4th Street Deli & Salads, we headed out on our cookie tour of the Historic District.  First stop Amelia's Fine Jewelry where Gigi and John keep a supply of treats on the window ledge, self-service style.  Then on to Olive Amelia, where we wait at the door until someone has a chance to go to the cookie bowl and bring us some cookies.  If you walk by and see us waiting the bowl is on the top shelf of the rack, just inside on the left, please pop in and grab a couple of cookies for us, the staff is frequently busy!

From there we went on to the docks to see how the repairs are going.

On the way back as we were passing Amelia Island Coffee Lillian asked if she could say hello, and of course, Dad said OK.  Lillian asked lots of questions about us. Dad gave his standard spiel.  Lillian was enamored with Gigi.

Lillian and friend were visiting from Riverside.  Lillian, we hope we see you again, it a short ride from Jacksonville.
